MotoGP | Austrian GP Race: Morbidelli on the accident with Zarco, "He's half a murderer" [VIDEO]
Morbidelli added: "I hope that this huge accident makes Zarco reflect"
MotoGP GP Austria Red Bull Ring Yamaha MotoGP – Franco Morbidelli commented on the terrible accident that occurred with the Frenchman Johann Zarco in the Austrian Grand Prix.
The Italian-Brazilian was the one who got the worst of it and, given the situation, he can be considered satisfied, given that he got away with a huge scare and some abrasions.
"Morbido" did not mince words when referring to the Frenchman's maneuver, which could also have involved Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales, who saw the two "crazy" motorbikes cut them off at around 280 km/h. Here's what the Team Petronas rider had to say.
Franco Morbidelli statements on the accident with Zarco and GP Austria MotoGP Red Bull Ring
“Zarco is a half-murderer! – begins Morbidelli – Braking like that at 300 per hour means having little love for yourself and for those you are racing with. I hope that this huge incident makes Zarco reflect. It was really dangerous for me, for him, for Rossi and Vinales who were there in front, while they were taking a really slow corner, they saw a motorbike coming in their faces at 280 per hour. I'm sorry because I couldn't do anything when I went to brake. Zarco changed his trajectory probably to protect himself. When he went outwards I was sucked into the wake and had no choice but to catch him. But in the end I'm physically well and next week I'll be at the start of the grand prix as usual.”

I don't understand what that failed yellow bin has to do with it, what did he get in the way of doing? Evidently it bothers him that Zarco got on the podium last week, a shitty man...
