MotoGP GP Austria 2020 – After the emotions and fears of the Austrian Grand Prix we immediately return to the track, next stop Spielberg again, for the Styrian Grand Prix, fifth stage of the 2020 MotoGP.

As expected, the Austrian Grand Prix was full of emotions, twists and lots of scares. The greatest emotion was certainly given by Andrea Dovizioso, winner of the GP and once again launched towards the title. The Forlì native was also the protagonist of the weekend's big twist, the end of his relationship with Ducati at the end of the season.

After so many years the relationship between the redhead and the #04 will end with a lot of bitterness, but the hope is that 2020 can still bring some joy. The great fear of the weekend, as many know, was the near-miss of Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales, who were grazed by the bikes of Zarco and Morbidelli.

A big scare, but fortunately everything went well and Yamaha can think about the points lost and the risk of having to lose the top of the standings after Sunday. The bike from the Iwata manufacturer, although it went well on the flying lap, had a big decline in the race, a bit like what happened in Brno, who knows if Austria 2 will help the manufacturer of the three tuning forks to find the key to the problem. KTM was certainly absent among the protagonists of the Austrian GP, even if Brad Binder was the author of a good comeback, but giving it up for defeat again next Sunday would be a mistake.

Austrian GP weather

Rain is also forecast for this weekend on the Spielberg circuit, but as already happened last weekend, the weather changes very quickly here.

Info Austrian GP

Spielberg's Grand Prix entered the calendar just three seasons ago. The first edition was won by Andrea Iannone on a Ducati. In 2017, 2019 and 2020 it was 'DesmoDovi' who achieved a victory, while in 2018 it was Jorge Lorenzo's turn again on board the Red. The track measures 4.7 km and has 3 left and 7 right corners.
