MotoGP | eSport Jerez: Marc Marquez, “I trained and studied where to put the wheels”

MotoGP Repsol Honda Team – Marc Marquez and Alex Marquez are ready for the third virtual Grand Prix of the season, which will take place on the Andalusian circuit of Jerez, named after Angel Nieto.

On the "track" with joypad in hand, in addition to the Marquez brothers, also Danilo Petrucci, Maverick Vinales, Alex Rins, Fabio Quartararo, Francesco Bagnaia, Tito Rabat, Miguel Oliveira, Iker Lecuona and Lorenzo Savadori.

The commentary will be by Guido Meda, Mauro Sanchini and Rosario Triolo. The race will be preceded by a qualifying round and each rider will play with their own virtual motorbike, in live video connection from their gaming station with the new official Milestone video game, MotoGP '20.

“Jerez is a track that I know very well, but I had to study it again in the game to try to find some advantages. Honda in MotoGP 2020 is good and after "playing" with the setup I am able to put the wheels where I want. I think like the last two races, staying out of trouble will be important as a lot of the drivers are really on the limit, but it's all good fun, I've had fun with the others in the first two Virtual Grands Prix and the fans really seem to be enjoying themselves.”

“Another new challenge awaits us for this third virtual Grand Prix with the new MotoGP 2020 game. A new game is a bit like having a new motorbike, you know the basics, but you have to push and experiment a bit to find out what they are the last differences, the ones that really make the difference. Jerez is a fun track, you can use some different lines in some places. I'm looking forward to racing, I just hope everyone is a little calmer than at the Red Bull Ring, and I hope once again I can do something that people enjoy.”
