MotoGP Test Valencia Honda Repsol Day 1 – Marc Marquez (in the photo watching his brother Alex make his MotoGP debut on the monitor, ed.) took to the track today in Valencia for the first day of testing with a view to 2020. The Repsol Honda Team champion left the pits early to compare the 2019 bike with the 2020.

Shortly after 13pm he fell while riding the 00 RC213V, the bike rolled heavily on the run-off areas and returned to the pits in a bad state.

At that point Marquez got back on the 2019 bike, completing a total of 60 laps in a day that saw him finish fifth with a time of 1'30.698.

“Overall I'm happy with how the first day went, we had our first contact with the 2020 bike and we started to understand it. I had a strange accident and tomorrow we will focus on some other areas to understand other things. It will be another busy day, but I look forward to continuing our work so the team can work with our feedback over the winter.”
