MotoGP | Tuscany earthquake, the Mugello racetrack available to displaced people
The strongest shock with epicenter in Scarperia San Pietro
Tuscany is currently experiencing the nightmare of an earthquake. This night there were more tremors (starting at 04:37, ed.) the strongest of 4.5 with the epicenter in Scarperia San Pietro, therefore the area of the Mugello racetrack. The provinces of Pistoia and Prato were also affected, although fortunately without any damage to people.
In this regard, the Mugello circuit has made its structure available for displaced people, which after a careful check reported no damage.
Here is the text written on the circuit's official social accounts.
“As many will know, numerous earthquakes occurred in Mugello during the night, with the epicenter in the municipality of Scarperia and San Piero: the checks carried out on the Circuit's structures highlighted the absence of any problem. We have also communicated to the institutional bodies that the racetrack is available to the community in case of need. We take this opportunity to thank all those who wanted to make their closeness felt"
