MotoGP | GP Assen FP4: Quartararo confirms his lead
The Yamaha rookie preceded Vinales and Rins
MotoGP Dutch GP Free Practice 4 – The fourth free practice session of the MotoGP class in Assen (stage of the Dutch Grand Prix, eighth stage of the 2019 MotoGP), not valid for the purposes of entry into Q2, but where the riders work above all from a race perspective to choose the compounds to use, saw Fabio Quartararo excel.
The Team Yamaha Petronas rider set the best lap with a time of 1:32.952, preceding his brand mate Maverick Vinales by 0.141s.
Third time for Alex Rins' Suzuki, followed by compatriot Marc Marquez's Honda and our Andrea Dovizioso on Ducati.
Excellent sixth time for rookie Joan Mir, who preceded Danilo Petrucci's Ducati, Takaaki Nakagami's Team LCR Honda, Pol Espargarò's KTM and Franco Morbidelli's Yamaha.
Twelfth and thirteenth times for Andrea Iannone and Francesco Bagnaia, while Valentino Rossi finished in the rear, eighteenth fastest.
