MotoGP | GP Misano FP1: Quartararo precedes Marquez, Rossi is ninth

MotoGP Gp San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Misano Free Practice 1 – Fabio Quartararo set the best FP1 time in the MotoGP class at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, where the thirteenth stage of the 2019 MotoGP championship is scheduled for Sunday.

The rider from San Giovanni Rotondo who lapped in 1:33.704 is followed by the Espargarò brothers, with Aleix (Aprilia) ahead of Pol (KTM).

Seventh, eighth and ninth times for Franco Morbidelli (Yamaha Petronas SRT), Danilo Petrucci (Ducati Team) and for the highly acclaimed Valentino Rossi astride the official Yamaha, who for the occasion brought a new carbon swingarm, a double exhaust side and an air conveyor on the front wheel.

The Pesaro native who fulfilled his dream last Tuesday, driving his M1 along the road from the Ranch to the circuit, is 1.029 seconds behind.

Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) is eleventh, behind Tito Rabat (Ducati Avintia) and ahead of the Suzuki of Silverstone winner Alex Rins and his brand mate, rookie Francesco Bagnaia, Ducati Pramac rider.

Nineteenth time for Andrea Iannone's Aprilia, while Jorge Lorenzo did not go beyond the 21st time, 2.139 from the top.
