MotoGP Gp Australia Phillip Island Honda Repsol Race – Marc Marquez's streak of success continues as he won the eleventh race of the season today at Phillip Island, site of the Australian Grand Prix, the fifth in a row.

With this victory, the Repsol Honda Team rider surpasses none other than Mick Doohan, 55 victories against the 54 of the Australian, world champion in the 500cc class from 1994 to 1998. For him, the 81st success of his career.

Today it wasn't easy to beat Vinales (he crashed on the last lap, ed.), but having nothing to lose he waited until the last lap to attack and cross the finish line first.

Statements Marc Marquez #93 Repsol Honda Team Australia Phillip Island Race

“In testing the Yamahas were scary, they seemed like the bikes to beat. I knew that to try to beat Vinales I would have to stay with him when he attempted to attack and I succeeded. In the end we were both at the limit with the soft tire – Marquez told Sky Sport – When I passed him I was expecting a response from him at turn 10, but I had another chance before the straight. I kept inside and didn't see Vinales fall. It seems like an easy victory, but it wasn't at all, I took a risk, I had nothing to lose. The motivation is always high, the team wants to win and this always leads me to give my best."
