MotoGP | GP Valencia Race: Danilo Petrucci, “It's a shame, it was an important race for the team”

MotoGP GP Valencia Ducati Qualifying – Danilo Petrucci closed the Valencia Grand Prix, the last stage of the 2019 MotoGP, in the gravel.

The difficult season for the rider from Terni ends in the worst possible way, especially in the second part. A crash that put an end to the Ducati rider's comeback from a bad start. Petrucci finished the 2019 championship in sixth position, his best placing ever in MotoGP.

“Really a shame, because it was an important race for the team. Unfortunately the launch control didn't work at the start so I lost a lot of positions at the start. In the following laps I was recovering, and my pace was really good, but unfortunately after overtaking Rossi I crashed without understanding the reason. I'm very sorry to have finished the championship like this, but this still remains the best season of my MotoGP career: I know I still have to improve in several aspects and now I can't wait for the new season to start again."
