MotoGP | Misano GP: Jorge Lorenzo, “Closer to the leaders, I have less pain” [VIDEO]

MotoGP Gp San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Honda Repsol – Jorge Lorenzo ended the first day of free practice for the San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix, thirteenth stage of the 2019 MotoGP, in 17th position.

The Spanish driver, still not at 100% after the injury suffered in Assen which forced him to take a long stop, finished the first free practice session 21st, very far from the leaders, but in the afternoon he was the author of a considerable improvement

“I'm happy with how today went, especially in the afternoon we managed to make a clear step forward. Compared to Silverstone we are closer to the leaders and I also have less pain. We managed to improve rear grip, which helped a lot in today's conditions. Tomorrow we will try to improve our general pace to continue closing the gap and improving."
