MotoGP GP San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Ducati MotoGP Day 1 – Francesco Bagnaia ended the first day of free practice for the San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix, thirteenth stage of the 2019 MotoGP, in 15th position.
It was a difficult first day in general for all the Ducatis. The Turin driver, despite the improvement of over 3 tenths between FP1 and FP2, was unable to reach the top ten and risks having to go through the Q1 trap.

“I am satisfied with the improvements made during the day on the race pace. We are on the same level as the other Ducatis up to this point and we should have already identified the tire choice for the race. However, we need to make progress in the time trial on the soft tire to qualify for Q2."
