MotoGP | German GP: Marc Marquez, “I'm motivated, it's one of my favorite tracks”

MotoGP German GP Honda Repsol – Marc Marquez arrives at the Sachsenring, scene of the ninth race of the 2019 MotoGP, after his second place in Assen, a second place which allowed him to move ahead of his rivals in the standings.

The closest, Andrea Dovizioso, is at 44 points and at the Sachsenring Marquez has won for 6 consecutive years, with as many pole positions. The #93 of Honda, however, curbs his easy enthusiasm and remembers Austin, a track where he had always won like the Sachsenring, but where he had crashed in the race.

“It's the first double of the year (two consecutive races, ed.), I'm enthusiastic, we spent a good weekend in Assen and I'm motivated because now we arrive at one of my favorite tracks. Of course, past results don't mean much, we have to continue to work hard with the Repsol Honda Team to stay ahead – said Marc Marquez – Everyone says I'm the favorite because I've won in recent years, but this sport is unpredictable and everyone had said the same in Austin and I crashed in the race, so we'll just start thinking about the weekend like every race.”
