MotoGP GP Germany Free Practice 2 – Marc Marquez wins the second free practice session of the German Grand Prix, ninth stage of the 2019 Motorcycle World Championship.

The Honda rider stopped the clock at 1:20.705, ahead of Alex Rins on Suzuki and Fabio Quartararo on Yamaha, by 341 and 360 thousandths respectively. On his last fastest lap, the French driver encountered a lot of traffic and was unable to improve.

Behind the Petronas team rider, his brand mate Maverick Vinales and an extraordinary Pol Espargarò on KTM.

Sixth time for Cal Crutchlow who finished ahead of Jack Miller and the official Ducatis of Danilo Petrucci and Andrea Dovizioso. Valentino Rossi completes the top ten.

Franco Morbidelli was out of the ten and finished 13th, while Andrea Iannone finished 16th.

Francesco Bagnaia missed the second free practice session due to medical checks. The Turin driver was the victim of a crash in FP1 during which he suffered a blow to the neck. The rookie was then taken to the hospital for tests, which however ruled out injuries. Tomorrow he will be on track.
