In addition to Moto2, the MotoE also took to the track at Jerez de La Frontera for the first official tests. At the end of the day, in the combined times the best time was that of the Finnish Niki Tuuli (AJO Motorsport) with 1:51.721. If a comparison is useful, the best time set today by Lorenzo Baldassarri in Moto2 is 1:42.203.

Second time for Eric Granado (Esponsorama Racing), preceding the French Randy De Puniet (LCR E-Team).

Bradley Smith (One Energy Racing) follows in fourth place, ahead of Alex De Angelis (Alma Pramac Racing) and Mike Di Meglio (EG 0,0 Marc VDS).

Seventh Jesko Raffin (Dynavolt Intact GP); Closing out the top 10 are Lorenzo Savadori (Trentino Gresini MotoE), Sete Gibernau (Pons Racing) and Matteo Casadei (Ongetta SIC58 Squadra Corse).

The other Italians: 11th Niccolò Canepa (LCR E-Team), 15th Matteo Ferrari (Trentino Gresini MotoE) and Luca Vitali (Ongetta SIC58 Squadra Corse).
