Moto3 Valencia, Free Practice 1: Antonelli at the top, Fenati is third behind Miller

The first free practice session of the Moto3 Valencian Community Grand Prix saw Niccolò Antonelli set the best time with a time of 1:40.338.
The Team Gresini centaur, who will be on track next year with a Team Ongetta Honda, preceded the Australian Jack Miller, riding the Team Red Bull Ajo KTM, by just 2 thousandths.
Third time for Romano Fenati, also confirmed for next season on the Team Sky VR46 KTM. Followed by Efren Vazquez (Honda), Niklas Ajo (Husqvarna), John McPhee (Honda), Miguel Oliveira (Mahindra) and the leader Alex Marquez (Honda), eighth and 0.613s behind the top.
We remind you that in the event of Jack Miller's victory, the Spaniard will need at least the third step of the podium to become Moto3 world champion.
The other Italians are Enea Bastianini (KTM) 12th, Andrea Migno (Mahindra) 21st, Francesco Bagnaia (KTM) 22nd, Matteo Ferrari and Andrea Locatelli (both on Mahindra of Team Italia) 26th and 27th and Alessandro Tonucci ( Mahindra) 34th and with only 2 laps under his belt.
