Moto3 Valencia FP2: Martin on top, bad fall for Bulega

Valencian Community GP Valencia Moto3 Free Practice 2 – The second free practice session of the Moto3 class in Valencia (stage of the last race of the season), saw the riders take to the track with 20.5º in the air and 24.1º on the asphalt, temperatures "hotter" than those recorded in FP1.

In these conditions the fastest was Jorge Martin, who stopped the clock on the Team Gresini Honda with a time of 1:39.209.

The Spanish driver preceded his compatriot and teammate Aron Canet by 0.396s. Third time for Juanfran Guevara, the latter followed by the 2017 world champion Joan Mir.

Ayumu Sasaki is fifth, ahead of our Romano Fenati (Honda Marinelli Rivacold Snipers), Gabriel Rodrigo and Fabio di Giannantonio.

Philipp Oettl and Enea Bastianini close the Top Ten. The wild card Dennis Foggia was twelfth, while Nicolò Bulega finished with the fifteenth fastest time.

The Team Sky VR46 rider was the victim of a fall caused by the innocent Niccolò Antonelli, with the #23 falling after losing the rear of his KTM, causing his bike to become a springboard for Bulega, who landed heavily. Bulega seems to have fared the worst and was taken away on a stretcher apparently due to an ankle problem.

Returning to the Italian rankings, Marco Bezzecchi, Lorenzo Dalla Porta and Andrea Migno occupy the seventeenth, eighteenth and nineteenth positions respectively.

The aforementioned Antonelli finished twenty-fourth, ahead of Manuel Pagliani and Tony Arbolino.

Update conditions Nicolò Bulega

The Team Sky VR46 rider suffered a dislocated ankle. He will be transported to the Valencia hospital where it will be possible for him to be operated on under general anesthesia with emergency surgery, to ensure that the ankle does not suffer permanent damage.
