Nicolò Bulega will race next season in the CEV with Team Calvo, the team that won the Moto3 class world championship last year with Maverick Vinales. The very young rider from Emilia who is part of the VR46 Riders Academy (he often trains at Valentino Rossi's ranch) will join Marcos Ramirez, a rider who already competes in the CEV. In recent days the team has been filming in Almeria (see photo) and this weekend they will be at the Valencia circuit to continue testing.

Nicholas Bulega:”I couldn't wait to start working with the team and try the bike with which I will participate in the FIM CEV this year. It is the world champion team and it is a great opportunity for me, for this I want to thank them. In recent days we tested in Almeria and now we will go to Valencia and I hope to start the season in the best possible way. I would like to thank VR46 for having reached such an important agreement with the world champion team.”

We then heard from father Davide, Italian champion of the 125 Sp and European of the 250 GP, team manager of the Lightspeed team until 2007, as well as test driver of the Cagiva 500cc.

“On the day of Nicolò's debut I was worried and fearful, fortunately it was only me, while Nicolò was very “loose”. He was getting on a KTM Moto3, that of Team Calvo, the world champion! I found a truly professional team, they follow Nicolò a lot and they made us feel at ease too. Nicolò gets along very well with Esteban and with Gavira (ex-rider sporting director) who was Vale's (Rossi, ed.) teammate in 1997. They have studied a lot of telemetry, position on the bike, they are very good. In the end the Team was happy with Nicolò and vice versa, it's an excellent start, it went very well.”
