Moto3 Test Valencia – The CEV champion, Fabio Quartararo, was immediately a great protagonist in the first day of testing of the Moto3 class which is being held on the Ricardo Tormo circuit.

The Honda rider was in fact the fastest at the end of today's three sessions, managing to stop the clock at a time of 1:39.392. Behind him three other Hondas, the Leopard Racing one of the British Danny Kent (only 23 thousandths of a second behind) and those of our own Enea Bastianini and Niccolò Antonelli.

The former races with the Junior Team Gresini Moto3, while his former teammate has moved to Team Ongetta-Rivacold. The two Italians performed excellently, respectively 0.277s and 0.392s behind the top.

The first KTM is that of the Portuguese Miguel Oliveira, fifth and ahead of the Husqvarna of Isaac Vinales and the KTMs of Karel Hanika and our Romano Fenati, bearer of the Sky Racing Team VR46. Fenati's gap from Quartararo is 0.625s.

Closing out the Top Ten are Juanfran Guevara and Jorge Martin, both riding the Mapfre Team's Mahindra. Fifteenth and sixteenth place for Andrea Migno (Fenati team-mate) and Andrea Locatelli (riding the Team Gresini Honda from this year).

The other Italians are further back; Matteo Ferrari riding the Mahindra of San Carlo Team Italia is nineteenth, while Francesco Bagnaia, Stefano Manzi and Alessandro Tonucci finished in twenty-eighth, twenty-ninth and thirty-first position respectively.

Ana Carrasco (KTM) and Maria Herrera (Husqvarna) finished in twenty-fifth and twenty-sixth position, therefore better than Bagnaia, Manzi and Tonucci.
