Moto3 Test Jerez Day 2: Quartararo sets a record! Antonelli did well with the Honda of Team Ongetta-Rivacold

Moto3 Jerez test – The 2014 CEV champion Fabio Quartararo continues to amaze. In fact, he set the best time in the second of the three days of IRTA testing of the Moto3 class on the Jerez de la Frontera circuit.

The French rider of Team Estrella Galicia 0.0 brought his NSF250RW ahead of everyone with a time of 1:45.918. An amazing performance, given that he lapped below the Andalusian circuit record.

Behind him, 0.285s behind, we find our Niccolò Antonelli, also on Honda, but from Team Ongetta-Rivacold. The former Team Gresini rider lapped in 1:46.203, still ahead of a Honda, that of Team Leopard Racing of the British Danny Kent, who lapped in 1:46.491.

The Mahindras of the Spaniards Juanfran Guevara and Jorge Martin did well, occupying the fourth and fifth positions, respectively 0.583s and 0.618s behind the top.

Closing the Top Ten are the KTM of the South African Brad Binder, the Honda of the Junior Team Gresini of our Enea Bastianini, that of the Team Estrella Galicia 0.0 of the Spaniard Jorge Navarro and the KTMs of the Finnish Niklas AJO (RBA Racing Team) and the Portuguese Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Ajo).

Romano Fenati on the KTM of Sky VR46 is thirteenth and ahead of his former teammate Francesco Bagnaia, riding the Mahindra of Team Aspar.

Sixteenth position for Andrea Locatelli, riding the second Honda of Team Gresini, while Alessandro Tonucci (Mahindra Outox Reset Drink Team) finished twenty-second.

Andrea Migno struggles. Romano Fenati's team-mate is in fact twenty-fourth while the San Carlo Team Italia duo formed by Matteo Ferrari and Stefano Manzi occupies twenty-eighth and thirtyth position respectively.
