Moto3 Silverstone Race: Bastianini, “Today we took a big step forward”

Moto3 GP Silverstone 2017 – Finally the podium has arrived Enea Bastianini who finished a beautiful race in second place, but was interrupted by the red flag on the last lap.

Victory was possible today but the red flag shown on the last lap due to the accident in which Guevara was involved changed everything. However, an excellent result for Enea on his first podium of the season:

“Beautiful race because there were many of us and it was difficult to manage. At the start of the race I struggled as always but as the tank emptied, I started to ride well and in the end I managed to get back into the leading group, it was nice to fight in the final laps. In the end I saw that on the straight you could gain a lot if you kept a bit of a margin, I tried to overtake Martin, I couldn't do it and then they gave the red flag. Starting with second place is fine! This morning there was a bit of grip missing at the front, we made a change that my team thought was the right one and in fact I went well. I don't know if we will be able to fight for the podium every time but what we did today is certainly a big step forward.".
