Moto3 Sachsenring, GP: Fenati, the man for overtaking on the outside, recovers and is 4th, Migno 21st
Spectacular race from the Sky Racing Team VR46 from Ascoli
Moto3 2015 GP Germany GP: already the starting position wasn't the best, plus the sprint from the start wasn't burning Roman Fenati. But a race that started badly revealed an amazing comeback full of determination worthy of the best Fenati who achieved at least two double overtakings at turn 12, one of which was entirely on the outside, which alone were worth the price of the ticket.
This excellent 4th place, which came at the end of an exciting battle with Bastianini (3rd) and Antonelli (5th), means the young man from the Marche region firmly maintains his 4th position in the championship.
Have a good day too Andrea Migno who, relegated to the last position on the grid due to a penalty, was the author of a good comeback to finish 21st place.
“It was a very positive race – he said beaming Roman Fenati – considering the setting problems we had throughout the weekend. This time too, the whole team demonstrated great professionalism by managing to find the solutions that led our bike to be super competitive in the race. It's just a shame about the start, I got stuck in traffic and this made me lose contact with the leaders in the breakaway, but not with the chasing group. My comeback started from there, I managed to climb one position after another, fighting for the podium until the last thousandth of a second. Maybe I made a small mistake at the last corner, I went a little wide to try to get to the front and this allowed Bastianini to actually get ahead of me for nothing!”
“It was a comeback race – he commented Andrea Migno – I hoped to be able to get into the points but unfortunately I didn't make it. However, it is a positive result, in light of the difficulties encountered in recent days in setting up the bike and interpreting the track. Compared to the latest releases, this is certainly not my ideal position. I always have to try to stay in the top 15 group and we will start fighting for this goal again from Indianapolis."
