Moto3 Sachsenring, FP1: Martin ahead of Bulega

Moto3 German GP Free Practice 1 – The riders of the Moto3 class opened the "dance" of the German Grand Prix, the ninth stage and turning point of the 2017 world championship. The rain that fell heavily yesterday gave a respite and all the riders were able to ride with slick tires in a track recently resurfaced and where no driver of the three classes was able to test.

The fastest of Free Practice 1 was Jorge Martin (Honda), who stopped the clock at a time of 1:27.868. The Team Gresini rider preceded Bo Bendsneyder by 0.111s, riding the Team Red Bull Ajo KTM.

Third time for the KTM of our Nicolò Bulega. The Team Sky VR46 rider (+0.153s) is ahead of Philipp Oettl (KTM), world championship leader Joan Mir (Honda Leopard) and Marcos Ramirez (KTM).

Good seventh time for Enea Bastianini (Honda Estrella Galicia 0,0), followed by Livio Loi, Aron Canet and compatriot Fabio di Giannantonio, who closes the Top Ten.

Romano Fenati with the Honda of Team Marinelli Rivacold Snipers is twelfth, while Andrea Migno with the second KTM of Team Sky VR46 is fourteenth.

Marco Bezzecchi set the seventeenth time, Lorenzo Dalla Porta the twenty-first, while Tony Arbolino, twenty-seventh, precedes Manuel Pagliani.

We remind you that Niccolò Antonelli is absent after suffering a hernia between the sixth and seventh cervical vertebrae during free practice on Saturday morning in Assen.
