Moto3 GP Qatar Day 2 – Romano Fenati achieved the second fastest time on Day 2 of the Qatar Grand Prix, the opening race of the 2017 world championship. The rider from Ascoli lapped in 2'06.989 aboard the Marinelli Rivacold Snipers Honda, he had the floor.
“Today the track was very dirty due to yesterday's strong wind but, at the same time, we were able to ride better because the wind dropped a lot – said Romano Fenati – In this session we first tried a ten-lap tyre, then an H at the rear and S at the front and, only at the end, we came out with the race tyres. I would say that the pace of this last phase of the session is the one we can maintain for the entire race.”
