Nineteenth time on Day 1 at Phillip Island for the Team Gresini rider

Despite only achieving the nineteenth time, Niccolò Antonelli is satisfied with his first day at Phillip Island, scene of the penultimate stage of the 2012 world championship. The very young Team Gresini rider is in fact convinced that he has found a good feeling with his FTR Honda, him the word.
“Today we are here! The position isn't the best but I think I found a good feeling and above all I understood together with the technicians what needs to be done to improve my confidence with the front and how to set the corners to lower my lap time. In short, I am satisfied and confident for tomorrow's tests.”
