Moto3 Mugello, Free Practice 3: Vinales ahead of Salom, Antonelli is seventh
Further back Romano Fenati, 15th with the FTR Honda of San Carlo Team Italia
A pale sun warmed the third free practice session of the Moto3 class at Mugello in the final minutes. In the minor class of the world championship, the fastest time was set in the last available session before qualifying by Maverick Vinales, who set a time of 1:58.328 aboard Team Calvo's KTM.
Behind the Spaniard we find another Iberian rider, still riding a KTM, but from Team Red Bull Ajo. This is Luis Salom, 425 thousandths behind his compatriot.
Third time for Jonas Folger's Kalex KTM. The Team Aspar rider placed behind the Spaniard of Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Alex Rins, who in turn precedes the Portuguese of Mahindra Miguel Oliveira.
Closing out the Top Ten are the Australian Jack Miller, our Niccolò Antonelli, riding the FTR Honda of Team Gresini, the Malaysian Zulfahmi Khairuddin, the Australian Arthur Sissis and the French Alan Techer.
The other Italian drivers are Alessandro Tonucci 12th, Romano Fenati 15th, Matteo Ferrari 20th, the wild card Andrea Antonelli 26th, Lorenzo Baldassarri 29th and Francesco Bagnaia 31st, followed by the second wild card, Michael Coletti.
