Niccolò Antonelli would have liked to compete for the podium today at Mugello as did his compatriot Romano Fenati (who finished second). The Team Gresini rider instead finished fourth and above all was unable to follow the top three at a crucial moment of the race. However, a positive race for the very young driver from Cattolica. He has the microphone.

“A fourth place isn't bad even if we lacked something to put me in the battle for the podium. Furthermore, due to an opponent, a gap was created with the leaders which I was no longer able to bridge. It's a shame but I think we took a positive step forward today. Of course there is still work to be done to be able to have a bike with which I can have greater confidence but I am sure that I will have it soon and then we will have fun."

We are starting to glimpse something new in the panorama of young Italians. Fenny and Antonelli are showing some beautiful things... they must be allowed to grow gradually without burdening them with excessive pressure.
