Moto3 Mugello: Enea Bastianini “It's a thrill to be in the lead, it's a shame to fall without fault”

Enea Bastianini will long remember the Italian Grand Prix held yesterday at Mugello. The Team Gresini rider was in fact the author of a crazy comeback, which took him from sixteenth place on the grid to the lead of the race. However, his "movie" stopped on the last lap, when a risky maneuver by world championship leader Jack Miller involved him in a fall. However, the capital performance remains, which gave emotions to him and his fans.

“I think I did the best race of my life – he said Enea Bastianini – I started sixteenth and recovered a lot of positions and at a certain point I even found myself in the lead for the first time: it was exciting. It's just a shame about what happened on the last lap, where I crashed without fault... I already had in mind where to pass to prepare for the sprint, because I had already seen on the previous lap that by staying behind you could overtake the riders in front thanks to the play of the wakes .
