Roman Fenati closes the top ten of the Motegi grand prix. The driver of the Italia Fmi team starts well but then halfway through the race he has to slow down his pace due to excessive tire wear. Considering that it was his debut on the Japanese track, it certainly didn't go badly: he battled for a long time with Vasquez, Sissis, Rossi and Antonelli and in the end took home 6 good points for the classification.

“I started very well- Fenati said – then after a few laps I got caught up in the third group and lost the pace and wasn't able to recover. The tires didn't help me much in the second part of the race and so I tried not to make any mistakes and took home the race. I want to congratulate my teammate Tonucci who deserved an excellent podium. We're a really good team. Now we're going to Malaysia and it's the first time for me. The track looks very nice and I can't wait to go around it."
