Moto3 Motegi: Fenati and Migno finish the first day of free practice at the back

Roman Fenati e Andrea Migno they finished the first day of free practice at Motegi 16th and 14th respectively. However, the two drivers of the Sky VR46 team had started off great, in the first session Romano was 5th and Migno 10th, but in the afternoon they were unable to regain the feeling of the morning. For tomorrow the two have a lot to work on, especially to improve braking, a critical point for all the riders here in Motegi.

“We did well in the first round, a little less in the second – said Romano Fenati – We had some setting problems and we are already working to try to resolve them. I had a lot of spin on the rear but this didn't help me tackle the curve in the right way, on the contrary, it tended to widen me a bit. We need to work on this aspect, improve the grip of the bike and then we will be ready."

“It wasn't bad, this afternoon it was very hot and this is not an easy circuit – added Andrea Migno – We need to fine-tune the bike for braking, which here in Motegi is numerous and aggressive. Every curve, a small smudge is enough to lose a lot and then it's difficult to recover! We are working on the bike, we have done well so far. We're not very far away and I'm sure we'll improve even further ahead of tomorrow."
