Moto3 Misano Race: Bulega, “I preferred not to take risks”

Moto3 GP San Marino 2017 – Despite the difficult conditions, the pilots of the Sky Racing Team VR46, they managed to finish the race in the top 10.

With the special liveries dedicated to the initiative “Sky Ocean Rescue”, Open up e Migno they managed to bring home some important points. Nicolò preferred not to take risks and managed to obtain fifth place:

“Already from the warm up, I understood that it would be an elimination race. There was a lot of water on the track, but the biggest difficulty was that in some corners the bike really slipped a lot, while in others there was more grip. After the first laps, many riders started to fall so I preferred not to take too many risks and ride at my own pace. I had a good race and reached the Top5, a good result to continue working towards the next races".

After the 12 place penalty on the grid, Andrea managed to recover up to ninth position:

“After the penalty in qualifying and the warm up, I had already imagined a survival race, so to speak. I started well, but I tried not to make any mistakes and stay calm. Lap after lap, I set my pace and managed to recover. I finished in ninth place and I'm quite satisfied also because I gained two positions in the general classification".
