Moto3 Misano: Alessandro Tonucci and Ambrogio Racing together in 2015

Alessandro Tonucci has reached an agreement to race with Ambrogio Racing in the 2015 season. The rider who currently drives a Team CIP Mahindra has therefore clarified his future, which will still see him on track in the Moto3 class. Here's what the driver and Team Manager Fiorenza Caponera had to say.

“I am very happy to take to the track in 2015 for Fiorenzo Caponera's team – said Alessandro Tonucci – During this season I have seen the team grow constantly and reach levels of excellence. I am convinced that we can continue to improve in the next championship and I am sure that I can continue, in the right condition, from the days of the podium in the 2012 Japanese GP, with attached fastest lap, or in the Australian GP, ​​the same year.”

“I am particularly happy with the agreement reached with Alessandro – he added Fiorenzo Caponera – I respect him a lot, and what's more, with him, after a few years, we are back to fielding an Italian driver: we operate mainly on an international level, but in this period most of our sponsors are national, and there is greater effectiveness, with a pilot who speaks the same language, in promoting aggregation and satisfying communication needs. Even with Tonucci, World Wide Race continues to operate according to what has always been its direction. Since we were born, we have moved constantly along two lines: growing young pilots, at their debut or almost, such as Simoncelli, Iannone, Folger or, this year, Binder, or enlisting pilots who, already with a few years of experience in shoulders, as was the case of Locatelli and Vincent, had only partially expressed their potential. In this second case, it was our task to help them restore their strength and abilities by bringing them back to the objective. We are sure that we will be able to operate according to our modules again next year, in favor of Alessandro and his teammate, whose name we should be sure of within a short time."
