Moto3: Maverick Vinales explains his split with Team Blusens Avintia

“We are done with the team – said the former Team Blusens Avintia rider to MotoGP.com – The thing was going from bad to worse but we wanted to close these last three races by making an agreement with the team that refused. So we won't race because the team doesn't want to accept that deal. I haven't been getting what I want since mid-season and the team isn't working as they should. I wanted to reach a peaceful agreement with the team to break the contract for next year and at least close this season, but they didn't want it, so I'm going home today."

The world championship is therefore increasingly in the hands of Sandro Cortese, who at this point, barring any sensational developments, should graduate as the first champion of the new Moto3 category on Sunday.
