Moto3: The Sky Racing Team VR46 ready to face the Austin race

Romano Fenati and Francesco Bagnaia, drivers of the Sky Racing Team VR46 arrive in Austin with different moods but with the same goal, to improve the result in Qatar. At Losail Fenati had finished twelfth, while Bagnaia had entered the Top Ten. Here's what they said from a Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas perspective.

“I expect a personal improvement compared to the first Grand Prix of the season – said Romano Fenati – We will have to work even harder to find the right set-up and wear the tires less.”

“I will definitely arrive in Austin more motivated after the good race in Qatar – added Francesco Bagnaia – I didn't know what it meant to be up there, even if I could have achieved more if I hadn't made some small mistakes at the start. In Texas we will need to start well from Friday, improve further and continue to fight for the top positions."

Team Manager Vittoriano Guareschi, who was in Ducati MotoGP until last year, then spoke.

“Austin is a very beautiful, fast track, with lots of ups and downs and chicanes – It is precisely in Texas that we hope to enter the leading group that will dominate until the end of the season. Meanwhile, the start in Losail was good: we managed to enter the top ten with Pecco, who obtained his best result in the standings. Romano had some problems with the bike, but we still collected some valuable data for the next stages. Now we want to start from the positions that count and stay there for the whole weekend."
