GP Le Mans Moto3 Qualifying- A timid sun at the start of the session allowed the Moto3 riders to contest most of the qualifying on the Bugatti Le Mans circuit on slick tyres. Despite a light shower of rain ten minutes from the end, the riders managed to get out on track in the final seconds for a very heated time attack.

At the checkered flag, Jorge Martin took pole. This is the third career pole for the Gresini team rider, fifth pole for a Honda. Behind the Spanish driver, Nicolò Bulega, who due to an exit over the curb was sanctioned with the cancellation of the best performance that would have put him on pole. Juanfran Guevare (RBA) completes the front row. After dominating the entire session, Romano Fenati finished fifth, followed by Albert Arenas (Mahindra) and Niccolò Antonelli (KTM Ajo). Marcos Ramirez (Platinum Bay Real Estate) opens the third row, followed by Joan Mir (Leopard) and Bo Bendsneyder (KTM Ajo). completing the top ten is wild card and 2015 world champion Danny Kent (KTM Ajo).

Out of the top ten by a whisker, Enea Bastianini (Estrella Galicia), who will start from eleventh place. Manuel Pagliani (CIP) finished in 14th position, followed by Fabio di Giannantonio (Gresini). Lorenzo dalla Porta was only 20th, followed by Marco Bezecchi (CIP). Far from the top is Andrea Migno (Sky Racing Team VR46) who will start from 23rd place tomorrow, ahead of Tony Arbolino (Sic58 Squadra Corse)
