Moto3 Le Mans, Race: Romano Fenati “I was guilty of inexperience, I could have collected a lot of points”

Roman Fenati closes the French Grand Prix with a withdrawal. The driver from the Marche was making a beautiful comeback under the downpour that hit today at Le Mans. He had climbed back into the points in just a few laps, after starting from 21st place, but he crashed, taking home the second consecutive "zero". Given the many falls that occurred, if he had remained calm he could have easily climbed onto the podium with the pace he had, but these falls also serve to gain experience.

“I slipped when I was in the middle of a comeback – Fenati said – I'm sorry for the sin of inexperience, because I could have had a good race and collected important points for the championship. Now we're going to Barcelona which is a track I know and like a lot. I'm sure we'll have a good weekend, especially if the weather helps us."
