Moto3 Jerez, Qualifying: Fenati “I'm aiming for a good result”
The Team Italia driver is confident despite the tenth time
Roman Fenati achieved the tenth fastest time in qualifying for the Spanish Grand Prix. The Team Italia driver was unable to replicate the performances of the tests and qualifications in Qatar, but he is still confident. The word is up to him.
“Today's qualifying went quite well, but unfortunately the condition of the asphalt penalized me. The rear was moving a lot, but my team was good at solving the problem straight away. Tomorrow I hope to make a good start and immediately recover some positions. I'm aiming to get a good result.”
His teammate further back Alessandro Tonucci who finished in 2'01"364 obtaining the
24th half.
“This morning with the wet track I didn't do too badly but in the afternoon the conditions were more uncertain with the track being dry in some places and wet in others. When we tried to put on slicks to improve the weather the asphalt was still wet and I even slipped. I hit my right shoulder but I think this won't cause any problems for tomorrow's race. I hope for a dry race.”
