Moto3 German GP Free Practice 1 – The Moto3 riders opened the "dance" as usual on the first day of free practice for the German Grand Prix, ninth stage of the 2018 MotoGP, which will take place on Sunday on the Sachsenring track, one of the shortest in the entire world championship.

The fastest time was set by Jorge Martin, who stopped the clock on the Team Gresini Honda with a time of 1:27.272.

The world ranking leader preceded the British John McPhee by +0.251s, who in turn is ahead of the German Philipp Oettl.

Fourth time for our Enea Bastianini (Honda Leopard), who preceded Raul Fernandez, Marcos Ramirez and Aron Canet. Marco Bezzecchi, (second in the world rankings, where he trails Martin by 2 points) is eighth with the PruestelGP KTM and ahead of Gabriel Rodrigo and Jakub Kornfeil, who close the Top Ten.

Eleventh time for Tony Arbolino (Honda Snipers), fourteenth for Fabio Di Giannantonio (Honda Gresini), fifteenth for Nicolò Bulega (KTM Sky VR46), seventeenth for Niccolò Antonelli (SIC58 Squadra Corse), twentieth for Dennis Foggia (KTM Sky VR46) and twenty-first for Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Honda Leopard).
