Moto3 | GP Qatar Qualifying: Vietti, “The race is something else”
Eighth time for Celestino at the end of Q2, Foggia sixteenth
Good performance for the driver Sky Racing Team VR46, Celestine Vietti, who concluded the first qualifying of the season on the Qatar circuit in eighth position. His teammate, Dennis Foggia, is further back and will have to come back from the sixth row.
Celestino Vietti: “I am really happy with this qualification both for me and for the Team with whom we have done a great job since last week's tests. The aim is to improve at every session and today I managed to do a good lap and keep a good pace even on my own. The race will be another matter, we will try to sort out the last few things, but I will give my best to stay close to the group.".
Dennis Foggia: "Such a pity. Unfortunately in Q2 the strategy didn't work and I will start from the back on the grid. It won't be easy to recover, but I will give my all to be able not to lose the leading group and stay there with them.".
