Moto3 | GP Le Mans Race: Vietti, “It was a beautiful comeback”

Good performance for the Sky Racing Team VR46 driver, Celestino Vietti, author of an excellent comeback from 19th to seventh position. Unlucky race for Dennis Foggia, who crashed during the 17th lap.

Celestino Vietti: “I'm very happy for myself, but above all for the Team because up to now it hasn't been an easy weekend. In qualifying we struggled and we lacked the fastest lap to be able to start from the front. I lapped a lot alone and this was certainly useful for the race pace, but a few positions further up the grid would have been useful. Having said that, it was a beautiful comeback and we must continue to work in this direction.".

Dennis Foggia: “It wasn't the race I expected: my qualifying position penalized me and today I was forced into a race that was all about attacking. I gave it my all and managed to set my pace and close the gap to the leading group. Unfortunately during the comeback I lost the front and I couldn't avoid the crash. I could have had my say at the end."
