Moto3 GP Australia Phillip Island Warm Up – Sergio Garcia wins the Warm Up of the Australian Grand Prix, seventeenth stage of the 2019 MotoGP championship.

The Estrella Galicia team driver stopped the clock at 1:37.411, preceding poleman Marcos Ramirez (Leopard) by 59 thousandths and Aron Canet (Max Racing Team) by 69 thousandths.

Fourth time for John McPhee (Petronas) ahead of Alonso Lopez and Kaito Toba. Brad Binder finished in seventh place ahead of Jaume Masia and Tony Arbolino (Snipers). Auyumu Sasaki (Petronas) completes the top ten.

The world championship leader, Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Leopard) finished fourteenth, preceding Stefano Nepa (Avintia), 18th, and Dennis Foggia (Sky Racing Team VR46). Romano Fenati (Snipers) is only 22nd, while Riccardo Rossi (Gresini), who crashed in the final minutes of the session without consequences, is 24th and ahead of Andrea Migno, 28th.

Niccolò Antonelli, after the bad accident in qualifying, returned to the track but was immediately stopped by a technical problem.
