Niccolò wins pole, eight years after Sic

Precisely in Assen, Marco Simoncelli obtained his last pole in 2011 and eight years later, today the team that bears his name conquered the pole position, almost a joke of fate which so mockingly took the Sic away from us . Niccolò Antonelli will start from first place tomorrow:
“I'm very happy, I didn't expect it because everyone was going very fast, there's an incredible level especially here in Assen. I'm very happy to start from the front after the last two qualifying sessions."
Regarding Sic's last pole, precisely on this track, Niccolò added:
“I heard it on television, come on, I'm happy”.
