Moto3 | GP Assen FP1: Martin precedes Bezzecchi, Bastianini is fifth
Four Italians in the Top Ten of the first free practice session of the Moto3 class in Assen
Moto3 Dutch GP Free Practice 1 – Jorge Martin was the fastest in the first free practice session of the Moto3 class in Assen, scene of the eighth stage of the 2018 MotoGP.
The Team Honda Gresini rider stopped the clock at a time of 1:42.771, ahead of world ranking leader Marco Bezzecchi (KTM PruestelGP) by 0.390s, who in turn is ahead of the British John McPhee.
Aron Canet with the Honda of Team Monlau is fourth, ahead of the winner of Barcelona, our Enea Bastianini, riding the Honda Leopard.
The #33 preceded the Czech Jakub Kornfeil and his compatriots Tony Arbolino (Honda Snipers) and Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Bastianini's team-mate).
The German Philipp Oettl and the Spaniard Gabriel Rodrigo close the Top Ten.
Nicolò Bulega with the KTM of Team Sky VR46 is eleventh, while the Roman Fabio Di Giannantonio (Honda Gresini) is fourteenth. Nineteenth time for Andrea Migno, riding the KTM of Team Angel Nieto.
The other Italians: Dennis Foggia (KTM Sky VR46) twenty-second, the returning Niccolò Antonelli (SIC58 Squadra Corse) twenty-fifth and Stefano Nepa (KTM Cip – Green Power) twenty-ninth.
