Moto3 Race Germany 2017 – The team driver Marinelli Rivacold Snipers, Roman Fenati, achieved his third consecutive podium; he is now second in the world championship with 128 points.

One of the unknowns for this weekend was the choice of tyres; in the end, the risk of using the rear media paid off, even though it deteriorated a lot:

“This second place counts as a victory and is a special result for me considering we had problems during the weekend and the podium seemed out of reach this time. Instead, with the team, we did a great job: the choice of M on the rear was the right one because I continued to go strong even in the second part of the race. It was a fair fight and I fought until the end. Now the summer break and then the second part of the championship where we will take it race by race, as we have done up to now."

It's worth a victory if the championship leader stays behind, otherwise it's a defeat, especially if at the penultimate corner you leave a highway inside to let you pass.

You pull like hell and stay in the lead for many laps, you get to the last corners of the last lap and you always get fooled...
