Moto3: Francesco Bagnaia, “I want to finish the championship in the top three places”

Moto3 2016 – The world championship returns to the track in Austria (where it hasn't raced since 1997) for the tenth stage of the championship. The riders can't wait to get back on their bikes and among these there is also our Francesco Bagnaia, current Mahindra rider who could take Brad Binder's place in the KTM Red Bull Ajo Team next year. “Pecco” spoke about the Austrian track, where the Moto3 riders have never ridden and about its championship; the goal is to finish in the top three. Bagnaia is currently fourth, eight points behind compatriot Romano Fenati.

“Austria is a new circuit and for us it has some positive aspects, such as the final sector, which seems quite fast, and some unfavorable aspects, such as the long straights. I learned it on the Playstation and I like it, I don't think it will be difficult to adapt – said Francesco Bagnaia – In the Moto3 race there could be a large group that will fight for the top positions. From now on, in the second half of the season, I want to focus on making up ground in the championship and finishing in the top three. To achieve this objective, it will be essential to finish the races as far ahead as possible, starting with the Austrian GP.”
