Once again the Machado team driver Joan Mir Mayrata dominated the qualifying, bringing the number of pole positions won this year to three, out of four qualifications held. The Spaniard also took home two victories, but paid for the very heavy retirements in Le Mans and race 1 in Barcelona in the general classification.
Following him, a good 6 tenths away, we find the first of the Italians, Davide Pizzoli, driver of the Laglisse team who, after a difficult start, seems to have finally found the right path again, and the results are starting to show.
Nicolò Bulega closes the top 5, currently third and first of the Italians in the general ranking.
Good qualifications also for the newcomers Lorenzo Dalla Porta (sixth), Tony Arbolino (eighth) and Stefano Valtulini (eleventh). Good twelfth place also for Marco Mazzecchi, driver of the Aspar team.
The Italian platoon closes with Lorenzo Petrarca (fourteenth) and Cristiano Carpi, twenty-third with the Ajo team motorbike.
The leader of the standings Aron Canet Barbero is in clear difficulty and closes the double qualifying round in eighteenth position.
