Moto3 Austin, Free Practice 2: Masbou outsmarts Locatelli, Antonelli is 5th

Moto3 Austin 2015 – The second session of Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas The Moto3 class saw the Frenchman Alexis Masbou excel, who outwitted our Andrea Locatelli right under the checkered flag. The Team Gresini rider was leading with a time of 2:29.305, when the Losail winner crossed the finish line in 2:29.267, beating him by just 38 thousandths.

The driver from Bergamo preceded the British Danny Kent (Honda), the latter's team-mate Efren Vazquez and his compatriot Niccolò Antonelli, who after setting the best time in Free Practice 1, was unable to defend himself due to a crash occurred a few minutes before the end of the session.

Further back are the Team Sky VR46 KTMs with Andrea Migno in twenty-third position and Romano Fenati in twenty-fifth, immediately ahead of Alessandro Tonucci.
