Today the Ioda TR004, the newborn Moto3 from the Terni factory (presented on June 13th in Barcelona) took its first "steps" on the Umbrian circuit of Magione. In the saddle was Armando Pontone (already winner of the Moto3 Cup in the 2011 Italian Speed ​​Championship riding the IodaTR001), who did the first Shake Down for the bike designed by engineers Luis Tintorè and Adelio Francia.

The first sensations were positive, especially in terms of the chassis. The TR004 is the fourth bike from the Terni factory led by Giampiero Sacchi, and represents the concentration of the experiences of the two TRs (the 001 and the 002) which have raced in Moto3 since its debut as a world category, the first in the Italian Speed ​​Championship, the second in the world championship in 2012, while the TR003, presented in 2012, raced last season in the MotoGP class with Danilo Petrucci.

In the coming weeks the bike will be taken to the track by Johann Zarco, current Came IodaRacing Moto2 rider and high-level eighth-litre rider.
