Moto3 Assen: Pole for Bastianini, Migno and Bulega on the front row
Romano Fenati also did well, fourth. Eight Italians in the top twelve positions
Dutch GP Moto3 Qualifying – We are in Holland in Assen, but for the moment the tricolor is flying at the Dutch GP. In the Moto3 class our riders made the difference, Enea Bastianini, riding the Honda, obtained the pole position, the first of the season.
The Team Gresini driver set the best lap of 1:42.463, ahead of his Sky Racing Team VR46 compatriots Andrea Migno and rookie Nicolò Bulega.
An all-Italian front row and a Romano Fenati who will open the second row with the fourth time, obtained with a time of 1:42.582. World championship leader Brad Binder will start alongside Fenati, who in turn preceded Juanfran Guevara.
The third row also sees an Italian protagonist, Team Gresini rookie Fabio Di Giannantonio is in fact ninth, behind Bo Bendsneyder and Fabio Quartararo.
There is no end to the protagonist Italian "colours", in the fourth row with the tenth and twelfth time we find Francesco Bagnaia with the Mahindra of Team Aspar and Lorenzo Dalla Porta, leader of the CEV and occasionally riding the Honda of Team Monlau.
Niccolò Antonelli, author of a double crash, will start with the thirteenth fastest time, from the fifth row which he will share with team-mate Jules Danilo and Philipp Oettl.
One of the favorites for pole, rookie Aron Canet, finished sixteenth, this after a bad crash at the start of the session which caused him to miss most of the session. Of note was a light drizzle at the end of qualifying.
