Moto3 Assen, Day 1: Fourth fastest time for Di Giannantonio

Moto3 FP2 Assen – The team driver Of Conca Gresini, Fabio DiGiannantonio, concluded the first day of free practice on the Dutch circuit in fourth place, half a second behind George Martin.

Usually on Fridays Fabio always struggles to find the feeling with the bike but today he said he was quite satisfied also with regards to the front problems:

“We finally got off to a good start on a track other than Mugello. This morning, despite not being appreciated from the times recorded, we had already done well by riding alone and finding good sensations. In the last exit only the traffic prevented me from finishing in a good position. In the afternoon I continued solo and with the new tire we made a good leap forward. There's still margin, and with the problems on the front we're getting there: I'm adapting my driving style and the team is working great to give me a more high-performance set-up".
