Moto3 | GP Valencia FP2: Leopard double with Suzuki and Foggia
Eleventh time for the World Champion Izan Guevara, the other Italians behind
Moto3 Valencia GP Valencian Community Free Practice 2 – Honda Leopard one-two in the second free practice session of the Grand Prix of the Valencian Community in the Moto3 class, the 20th and final stage of the 2022 MotoGP scheduled for Sunday in Valencia.
Tatsuki Suzuki recorded the best performance of the day with a time of 1:39.467 ahead of team-mate Dennis Foggia, just 21 thousandths behind.
Third time for Carlos Tatay's CFMoto, which preceded Sergio Garcia's GasGas and the KTMs of David Salvador (who replaces the injured Stefano Nepa in Team MTA, ed.) and Diogo Moreira (KTM MT Helmets – MSI).
Closing out the Top Ten are Xavier Artigas with the second CFMoto, Daniel Holgado (KTM Red Bull Ajo), Ryusei Yamanaka (KTM MT Helmets – MSI) and the winner of Sepang, John McPhee, on a Husqvarna of the Max Racing Team.
Izan Guevara (GasGas), David Munoz (KTM BOE), Ayumu Sasaki (Husqvarna Max Racing Team) and Deniz Oncu (KTM Tech 2) also qualified for provisional Q3, the latter with the FP1 time.
The other Italians are behind: Riccardo Rossi (Honda SIC58 Squadra Corse) is 19th, Elia Bartolini (KTM Avintia) 21st, Nicola Fabio Carraro (KTM Avintia) 24th, Andrea Migno (Honda Snipers) 26th, the wildcard Filippo Farioli (GasGas Aspar) 27th and Alberto Surra (Honda Snipers) 30th.
